Sunday is the for santai day.. but not for mama. Sunday will always be busy, that is the day for washing day, shopping day, cooking day and mayday.. mayday.. hehehehe... Saturday is much the same.. no rest or relax day during the weekends.

Today I baked some nastars or tart gulung to fulfill some orders. I still have about 200 tarts to do. haaaa.........esok-esok laaaa.. And as usual when i bake tarts, there will be a lot of egg whites, so I tried and old recipe, Fly African (why fly to africa arrrr, is it because someone is there )but actually this was the name given by the older generation and last week it was retried by one of the Resipidotnet members Farah. So I decided, why not give it a try.

(A)
6 ozs putih telur sejuk
1 tsp ovalette
1 oz air sejuk
4 ozs gula kaster
4 + 1/2 ozs tpg gandum
1 kuning telur
1/2 tsp double acting baking powder

(B)
4 ozs. butter cair
1/2 tsp esen vanila
1 + 1/2 tbsp susu pekat

(C)
2 ozs almond nibs (saya pakai almond flakes)

METHOD:
pukul bahan (A) sehingga pekat. masukkan (B) dan kaup pakai tgn cepat2 sampai takde trace butter cair tuh
ketepi 1/3 adunan utk adunan koko. Tambah 1 + 1/2 tbsp choc. emulco ke dlmnya. 2/3 adunan biar plain
(Saya pakai acu bulat 9".....tapik tingginya cuma 1" lebih jek....saya cadangkan pakai acu bulat 8" baru tingginya lawa sikit). Acu gris dan lapik dan gris dan tabur tepung ek....
tgh-tgh acu, letak 2 sudu makan adunan plain, pastuh letak pulak 1 sudu makan adunan koko atas adunan plain.....buat sampaiiii abis...tabur atas ngan almond nibs
bake 180 degrees....30 minit atau kurang...



Actually early inthe morning I went to D'Metres my bakery shop, buying all the ingredients. Then today I cooked Nasi Lemak with sambal Udang. (sorry no photos as my nasi lemak will always be incomplete ... muahahaha... ). There was just sambal udang, ikan bilis goreng and telur rebus.....





After cooking, I start baking my Nastar




Tonight, I have some chocolates to temper with... fuuuhhh.. what a full day...........

Rinn - Salam Perkenalan juga mama hulurkan..Mamazieza ni.. mama veteran.. masa zaman perang jepun.. hehehehe.. tapi tak pandai masak.. pandai nempekk jerrr... hehehe.. Alamak kapkek yang menonjol takpe..jgn lain sudahhh.. hehehe... icing tu kalerful sebab kaler tu jerr yang dah siap.. perabis belen icing..jgn membazir.. heheheh

Mama pun suka buat.. tapi tak suka makan... tengokkk jerrr.. hahahaha...badann semangat gakkkk.. muahahaha

Ezah - Tulaaaa.. amik order CNY bebanyak.. hehehe.. kan penat.... tapi takpe.. masyukkkkkkkkk. Punyalaaa penat sampai ter post dua kali ekkk.. hehehe

Jeff - sekali tengok bagai dah boleh rasa... dua kali tengok langsung takde rasa.. hehehe

Mommy_d&d - Sambal Udang dicicah ngan roti mamak ke.. roti canai ke.. hehehe.. mertua lalu belakang tak nampak.. muahahahaha... Nastar tu tart.. tart tu nastar..

Nita - Kalau boleh bawak keluar, amik arrr... hehehehe
